Yamaha Motor India total sales up 57% in July

The company had sold a total of 36,993 units in the corresponding month last year

Two-wheeler maker Yamaha Motor India Sales (YMIS) today reported 57% increase in total sales at 58,151 units for July, 2013.
 
The company had sold a total of 36,993 units in the corresponding month last year, YMIS said in a statement.
 
In the domestic market, the company registered a rise of 35% in its sales at 37,494 units compared to 27,858 units in the year-ago period, it added.
 
In the export markets, YMIS sold  20,657 units in July, 2013 as against to 9,135 units in the same month last year, achieving a growth of 126%.
