A 16-year-old girl was set on fire after she allegedly resisted a rape attempt in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr area.
The incident was reported from the Pahasu area of Bulandshahr District. Doctors attending to her at the Aligarh Medical College said that she has suffered 90% burns and may not survive.
The accused, a local, allegedly tried to rape the teen at her house. When she resisted, he allegedly poured kerosene over her and set her on fire.
Police has filed a case of attempt to rape and attempt to murder against the man who is absconding.
