CBI has filed a chargesheet against former Union Minister Matang Sinh and 10 others including his erstwhile company NE Television Network Pvt Limited for allegedly cheating Canara Bank in the loan of Rs 7.5 crore.

CBI sources said Sinh, his estranged wife Manoranjana and a chartered accountant allegedly entered in criminal conspiracy to cheat Canara Bank by availing loan of Rs five crore and over draft facility of 2.5 crore on the basis of forged documents in 2005 for setting up a music channel in Guwahati.

The sources said charge sheet has been filed in Patiala House court.

Sinh is also facing CBI probe in Saradha ponzy scheme case.
