10:05 am: Krishappa Gowtham was the first big buy of the second day of the IPL 2018 player auction at Rs 62 million. Gowtham, in particular, seemed to be very popular with the teams as four of them -- Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals -- bid for him. The Royals finally snapped him up.
