Khalistan terror module busted, three arrested in Punjab

The Punjab Police busted a terror module in Hoshiarpur district and arrested three suspects on Wednesday.

The police also recovered three pistols, ammunitions and 15 bullet proof jackets from their hideout.

The terror suspects are from the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), an insurgent group and part of separatist Khalistan movement.

KLF is a Khalsa group that came into existence in 1987 for the purpose of creating an independent Sikh state of Khalistan in Punjab.

Further investigations into the busted module is in progress.
