After Congress and party Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, liquor baron Vijay Mallya's Twitter account has been hacked by a group called Legion.  The tweets are now deleted.

A series of abusive and embarrassing tweets were sent out to over 5.51 million followers by a cracker group or individual named 'Legion'.

The account appears to have been hacked by the same group that hacked the handles of Gandhi and Congress earlier.

The group in a pinned tweet said that they are not blackmailing Mallya and accused him of creating propaganda.
They have shared addresses of his alleged residences  and threatened to reveal details about Mallya's bank accounts and foreign assets. "More info on Mallyas bank accounts and foreign assets will be published as the investigation is completed in some other matters," the group tweeted.
"Legion will release a list of all documents pertaining to Mallya over the course of few days," a tweet said.
Mallya had tweeted about his account being hacked. "My account has been hacked by some one called Legion who are Tweeting now in my name. Simply ignore. Will fix this."

Calling for public support, "the Legion" claimed that they will bring more information about criminals to bring them to justice.

"Support legion. We will bring you the info needed to bring these criminals to justice! We shall bring you more about this fraudster and conman over the course of the next few weeks," the group said in tweets.

The hackers have tweeted out his alleged address, investments and phone number from the handle as well as what they claim are his passwords.
