Mumbai Police raid Meiyappan's house

The Mumbai police's raid at Gurunath Meiyappan's house in Chennai lasted for about nine hours on Sunday. A four-member team from the Mumbai police arrived at his house at 9.30 am to search for evidence related to spot fixing during the Indian Premier League matches. The search ended at around 6.15 pm.

While the police did not talk to the media, they were carrying a box on their way out from Meiyappan's house.
