President Pranab Mukherjee will be on a daylong visit to Uttarakhand on June 22 to pay obeisance at Kedarnath.
He will arrive at Jollygrant airport early on that day and will head straight for the Himalayan shrine.
He will return to Dehradun where he will stay for few hours before leaving for Delhi, said Chief Secretary Shatrughna Singh who on Monday reviewed preparations for the President's proposed visit at the secretariat with senior officials.
Governor K K Paul, Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Chief Secretary Shatrughna Singh, DGP M A Ganpati and Dehradun Mayor Vinod Chamoli will receive the president at the airport.
The President's aircraft will be landed at Gauchar if the weather In Kedarnath happens to be bad.
