Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor's daughter Roshni Kapoor was stopped from leaving the country at Mumbai Airport on Sunday. She was going to London by British Airways.

Earlier, Enforcement Directorate (ED) had issued lookout notice against Rana Kapoor and his family, including his wife Bindu Kapoor, daughters Rakhee Kapoor Tandon, Radha Kapoor and Roshni Kapoor.

The ED has already arrested 62-year-old Rana Kapoor in the matter under money-laundering charges. Kapoor was produced in a Mumbai court. He was remanded in the Enforcement Directorate's custody till March 11.

Sunil Gonsalves, representing ED, said at the hour-long hearing the total proceeds of the alleged crime amounted to Rs 4300 crore, and that Kapoor had refused to cooperate with the investigation.

Kapoor denied this.

"I want to cooperate with them," he told the court through tears. "I'm willing to cooperate day and night despite the fact that I haven't slept a wink."

Zain Shroff, Kapoor's lawyer, told the court his client had been made "a scapegoat" due to public outrage against Yes Bank after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) placed the bank under a moratorium and imposed limits on withdrawals.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday had imposed a moratorium on the capital-starved Yes Bank, capping withdrawals at Rs 50,000 per account, and superseded the board of the private sector lender with immediate effect.

Yes Bank will not be able to grant or renew any loan or advance, make any investment, incur any liability or agree to disburse any payment.

According to the RBI's draft reconstruction scheme, the State Bank of India will pick up 49 per cent stake in the crisis-ridden Yes Bank under a government-approved bailout plan.
