Vax makers to discuss pricing issue with govt
Both Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech will take up with the Centre the issue of Covid-19 vaccine pricing for state governments and private hospitals before making any further price announcements, industry sources have indicated. The Centre on Monday asked the vaccine makers to lower the vaccine prices.
Bharat Biotech earlier said it would sell Covaxin at Rs 600 and Rs 1,200 per dose to states and private hospitals, respectively, while SII announced Rs 400 and Rs 600 per dose for Covishield.
