Hours after Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan tweeted about being detained by immigration authorities at the Los Angeles airport, US authorities have apologised to the actor.

US ambassador to India, Rich Verma, apologised for the trouble and said that they were working so that the incident does not happen again.

The news was confirmed by the actor on Twitter and expressed displeasure at being detained by the department every single time.

However, he later seemed to look at the ‘bright side’ of the act, which helped him catch ‘some really nice pokemons’.

In the past too, the actor has been detained by the immigration authorities at two airports — at New York and New Jersey.
