The efforts of Himachal state government to restore the central industrial package in state till 2013 (which expires on March 2010), has got support from the Baddi Barotiwala Nalagarh(BBN) Industries Association which has written a letter to Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma seeking his support for the cause.
BBN Industries Association represents the industries established in the Baddi, Barotiwala and Nalagarh industrial corridor in Himachal Pradesh.
The association, in its letter written to the commerce minister, has sought extension of the central industrial package granted to state in 2003 for 10 years, but was curtailed for 7 years till March 2010.
