Capacity building

The Haryana government has urged the Centre to focus on capacity building of urban local bodies as these are the main functionaries for urban development. Haryana Public Works (B&R) Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala in a meeting of National Development Council said since both direct and indirect taxes went to the Centre, the local bodies should be allocated some share to help them in their capacity building.
