Cargill chief calls on Rosaiah

Chairman and chief executive officer of US-based Cargill, Gregory R Page, on Monday called on Andhra Pradesh chief minister, K Rosaiah.

According to an official press release, Cargill, a global producer and marketer of food, agricultural, financial and industrial products and services, has evinced keen interest in investing in the state.

The chief minister was stated to have informed Page that there were lots of investment options in the state.

Cargill has set up Silkroad Sugar Private Limited, a sugar refinery, at Kakinada in a joint venture with EID Parry (India) Limited, a company of Chennai-based Murugappa group.
