With exactly a month left for the Commonwealth Games, authorities today admitted that there may be some "hitches" here and there but were optimistic that overall it will be a "great" event.
"Preparations are going well. I am optimistic. It will be great Games," Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said on the sidelines a CWG publicity function 'Shera Mera Dost' at the Sanskriti School here.
On the threat of dengue looming over the Games, she said civic agencies are taking necessary steps to contain the spread of the disease.
Games Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi said all the infrastructure for the mega sporting event are ready.
"There may be some hitches here and there... But we got everything going good," he said. The Games are scheduled to be held here from October 3 to 14.
