DBTL put on hold after cabinet raises cap on LPG cylinders

For UPA, there is still confusion over decision on LPG cap as it has rationed only one cylinder per month

The Union Cabinet today decided to increase the cap on LPG from nine to 12, keeping it in a model of one cylinder a month. Meanwhile, the ambitious direct benefit transfer system on LPG is put on hold.

However, in a major blow to UPA there is still a confusion over the cabinet decision as it has rationed only one cylinder per month.

While rolling back DBT on all districts, the government has decided to put it on hold till a panel to be constituted in this regard submits its report.
