A world-class diagnostics facility set up here by the Elbit Medical Diagnostics Ltd, part of the City-based Chary's group, was formally inaugurated by the chief minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, today.
The facility located on Road No 12, Banjara Hills, was set up with an investment of Rs 15 crore. The whole body 3 Tesla MRI available here is the first-of-its-kind in South Asia and the fourth in the world for commercial purposes.
It provides unsurpassed image quality and is four times faster than any other MRI scanner in the country, claimed M P Chary, the chairman of Elbit Diagnostics.
