Gujarat Infotech Companies To Participate At Indiasoft

In a bid to promote Gujarat as an attractive investment destination for information technology (IT) companies, several state-owned information technology and venture fund companies have confirmed their participation at the INDIASOFT 2002 being held in New Delhi from February 20 to 22.

Besides Gujarat pitching itself as a partner state of this mega infotech event, state-owned companies like Gujarat Informatics (GIL), Gujarat Venture Finance Ltd (GVFL), Gujarat Info Petro Ltd (GIPL) and other GVFL-funded companies would be making an attempt to underscore that the state is on the threshold of a steep upturn and ready with the right ambiance and infrastructure necessary for fast growth of the IT sector.

Disclosing this, a state government official said that a number of GVFL-funded companies like IceNet, Net4Nuts, E-cubics and Anupam Infosys would be displaying their wares at the Gujarat Pavilion of INDIASOFT 2002.
