Indo-Global Education Summit from Sept

The Indus Foundation, a non-profit educational trust dedicated to the promotion of higher education in India, is organising Indo-Global Education Summit 2012 here from September 7.
The main objective of the three-day comprehensive networking educational summit is to explore opportunities for collaborations between foreign universities and Indian institutions, apart from guidance of Indian students for higher education abroad, SB Anumolu, managing trustee of Foundation, told mediapersons here.
The event will see participation from 1,200 Indian and foreign universities including West Virginia University and Western University of Health Sciences, and more than 10,000 students, he said.
The summit would have sessions on collaborative research programmes, joint degree programmes, distance education & vocational education programmes, and other academic partnerships.
