JK Fisheries dept sells Rs 3.1 crore of fish in last fiscal

The Jammu and Kashmir fisheries department has made a sale of fish worth Rs 3.1 crore during the last fiscal in the state.

The amount includes sale of trout valued at Rs 1.35 crore, Minister of State for Fisheries Ajaz Ahmad Khan said during his tour of Anantnag district to take stock of fisheries in the district.

The minister also visited the Kokernag trout hatchery where he was made informed about the stock and sale of trout at this internationally known fish institute.
