India Against Corruption today said that no matter what the Government did, more  information on Robert Vadra son in law of Congress president SOnia Gandhi would soon be coming out. IAC member Prashant Bhushan was reacting to the sudden transfer of IAS officer Ashok Khemka by the Haryana Government after he initiated an inquiry into the undervaluation of land bought by Vadra and DLF.
He said more information on Vadra would keep coming out no matter what the Government did. Asked if they would be making these revelations he said "we would also be making some of them.''

Khemka was transferred yesterday after he started an inquiry four days ago as director general of the Land Registration department. He was looking into undervaluation of land in these deals in four districts. He has protested against the transfer in a letter to the Haryana Chief Secretary and said it was unjustified.

Arvind Kejriwal criticised the transfer and asked Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for an explanation.  Ashok Khemka was transferred by Haryana Govt because he was probing Vadra's land deals in Haryana. We strongly criticize that. '' he tweeted today.

"What is the transfer policy for IAS officers in Haryana? Under that policy, can an officer be transferred merely because he was investigating Vadra?"

Haryana CM ought to answer to the country - why has Ashok Khemka been transferred?, he asked.

"We are taking up the matter of Khemka's transfer with the citizens of the country. He was acting independently. But the Government got scared as investigation would unravel layers and layers of corruption in all their real estate deals. All real estate deals of the state government are based on fraud, and they didnt want it to be exposed,'' Prashant Bhushan told Business Standard.

He said they did not have any inkling about it as Khemka was conducting an independent probe into the deals. We came to know it from the papers, he said.

Khemka  a 1991-batch officer,  who was the Director-General of Land Consolidation and Land Records-cum-Inspector General of Registration in Haryana, was transferred out of the post within three months of assuming charge.

He had ordered the probe three days back on land deals in Gurgaon, Faridabad, Palwal and Mewat since 2005.

Kejriwal alleged that Khemka "upfronted a deal" that was to happen between Vadra and DLF and ordered its cancellation.     Khemka said that he was "anguished" and "suffering" due to 40 transfers in 21 years of service.

"If these problems are brought in sunshine, probably my decisions would appear to be normal and correct. But what happens is, inside, you are guided and directed to behave differently.

"If you do take an action which you call strong but I would call as correct, and then action is taken against you, it's very demoralising, dehumanising and you feel ashamed of yourself that look, there must be something wrong with you that these things are happening.

"You get words like 'you don't get along well with others, 'there are shades of grey in life' etc. These kinds of euphemism are created to deviate you from the correct path," Khemka told a TV channel.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said the Chief Secretary will look into Khemka's complaint. "As far as the Haryana government is concerned, we have not made out undue favour to anybody.
