The meeting to discuss the restructuring of the Industrial Financial Corporation of India, convened by finance secretary Ajit Kumar, was again inconclusive.

According to sources, another meeting has been planned for the next week. The decision on the restructuring exercise, however, is not expected even at the next meeting, they add.

The meeting also discussed the Rs 1,000 crore NCD issue proposal. The chances of asking other banks and financial institutions to subscribe to the equity looked remote.
