Most multinationals said they might feel little impact of the warnings issued by their countries to leave India in the wake of the war-like scenario.

A senior executive at Hindustan Lever said, " We have six expatriates working with us at senior levels and we have conveyed to them our perception of the current situation. However, in light of their respective government's warnings, we have offered them all cooperation in case they decide to leave. The expatriates though have decided to stay on."

Richard Fleming, the Mumbai-based business manager (southwest asia - consumer imaging), Kodak India, said: "I am in Singapore for a business trip and currently monitoring the developments in the sub-continent. I may extend my business trip. I do not want to comment more on the issue" Executives at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals said: "The company does not have any foreigners working at its plant or corporate office in Mumbai. So there is no issue like sending back foreigners." Executives at Bayer India, said that the company management has not issued any notification asking its foreign executives to go back to their respective countries due to the war like situation in the sub-continent.

It has some executives on the payrolls including the company managing director Dieter Kambeck.
