Sulking Maharashtra BJP leader Gopinath Munde arrived here today, saying he would present his "grievances" to the party leadership and hoped "justice" would be done.

"I will put forth the feelings and grievances of party workers from Maharashtra before the central leadership," said Munde, who will be meeting BJP President Nitin Gadkari and some other top leaders, including L K Advani and Sushma Swaraj. "I hope justice will be done," he added.

Munde, a prominent OBC leader from Maharashtra, is said to be upset since his supporter Yogesh Gogawale was sidelined for the post of Pune BJP president and Gadkari loyalist Vikas Mathkari was appointed instead.

BJP's deputy leader in the Lok Sabha, Munde has been conveying his unhappiness by skipping some party meetings and other programmes in the state recently.

NCP HASN’T MADE ANY OFFER: PAWAR
NCP president Sharad Pawar sought to clear the air today by saying his party had not made any offer to the disgruntled BJP leader Gopinath Munde. When asked about NCP leaders Madhukar Picchad and Chhagan Bhujbal meeting Munde, Pawar said, "It was a normal meeting. The NCP has not put forward any proposal to Munde. We have nothing to offer him."

Describing Munde's current face-off with the BJP leadership as an "internal affair", Pawar said the NCP was not concerned.

"Such things happen in a political party. It does not call for instant speculation," he added.
