The Rural Development Department, Haryana, has installed a toll-free telephone service to more effectively implement the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in the State.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Rural Development Department said that anybody could dial the toll-free number, 1800-180-2023, from anywhere in Haryana to get information about the scheme and register his/her complaints regarding the implementation of the scheme. The service had been introduced to apprise more rural people about MGNREGS.
The Department would redress the grievances of the people regarding the implementation of MGNREGS by taking immediate action on the complaints registered by them.
