The Rajasthan Tourism Devel-opment Corporation has announced a special rupee tariff for Indian tourists travelling on the Palace on Wheels during 2002-03.
Indian tourists will now have to pay 30 per cent less between October 2002 and March 2003 and 25 per cent less in September and April 2003.
The seven-night and eight- day journey will be available to Indian passengers at Rs 9,000 per person per night in triple occupancy, Rs 12,000 in double occupancy and Rs 15,000 per person per night in single occupancy in September and April 2003.
