Powergrid Report On Dpc Power Soon

PowerGrid Corporation will soon submit a report to the government on the possibilities of evacuating power from the Dabhol project to the power-deficient states.

Sources said that the Central Electricty Authority (CEA) also had completed its first round of consultations with the states to find out their requirement and the tariff acceptable to them.

They added that the states have informed CEA that they would give their opinion on the issue by the end of this week. Power ministry officials said that Powergrid
