Yoga guru Ramdev today vowed to fight against corruption and reiterated his demand for the return of Rs 400 lakh crore of black money stashed in banks abroad.

“We have not sinned by waging a war against corruption and pledge to bring back black money from foreign countries. The fight against corruption will continue till my last breath with the help from all my countrymen,” Ramdev said, as he emerged from a private hospital after being discharged. He was hospitalised on Friday after complaints of weakness and dehydration.

Ramdev, who broke his fast on Sunday, said he was unhappy over the police crackdown on innocent and peaceful people, who demonstrated peacefully against corruption at Ramlila ground in New Delhi on the night of June 4. “The atrocities they faced ther will not go waste and we will continue our fight. In the corrupt and wretched system, we will try our best to bring a sea change,” he thundered.

“We want persons with clean image and high integrity to be elected to Parliament. Children of poor people will also become doctors, engineers and scientists,” Ramdev said.

Ramdev also demanded the return of Rs 400 lakh crore of black money from the foreign bank accounts and said this money should be declared as national asset.
