Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC) plans to promote its venture capital assitance scheme (VCAS) to agripreneurs in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

As a part of its third phase of awareness campaign, SFAC is organizing camps to offers capital for agri-business projects and project development facility (PDF) to assist producer, producer groups/organisation, agri-export zone units and agriculture graduates in preparation of detailed project report (DPR).

The awareness camps are witnessing presence of representatives from agriculture departments, agripreneurs, non-government organistions and self help groups, fisheries department, forest department, banks, agriculture mandis, NABARD, SFAC etc.

“Our aim is to work with banks and facilitate the establishment of agriculture vetures,” said Pravesh Sharma, Managing Director, SFAC.

We are also working to promote private investments in agri-ventures to create employment and increase rural household incomes with assured markets for agri-business products, added Sharma.
