Positive endings marked Thursday' trades, with nine out of three Indian ADRs closing in the green.
Tata Motors surged 6.4% at $25.69, followed by ICICI Bank at $44.64 up 2% and Sterlite Industries up 1% at $14.90.
HDFC Bank moved up nearly 1% at $143.91, while Wipro gained 0.7% to end the day at 13.39.
Tata Communications at $10.25, Infosys at $68.35 and MTNL at $2.11 moved up half a per cent each.
Genpact saw a marginal gain of 0.4% to end at $15.34.
On the negative side, Patni Computer Systems at $19.99 and Satyam Computer Services at $2.77 remained unchanged down 1.1% (as on Wednesday).
Dr Reddy's fared slightly better than Wednesday, but ended Thursday on a weak note down 0.3% at 35.36.
