The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the BJPs youth wing, has prepared an aggressive six-month youth mobilisation and training programme to boost the BJPs image and to counter the campaign against the BJP.

The BJYM campaign is planned in various stages and a part of it would coincide with BJP President LK Advanis swarna jayanthi rath yatra, which that is scheduled to begin on May 18.

The special attraction of the campaign would be the Muslim and the Dalit youths conferences, BJYM president Uma Bharati said yesterday.

The BJYMs decision to attract Muslim and Dalit youths towards the BJP was taken after the organisations two day national executive meeting, which concluded on Monday. It is only by attracting these two sections that the BJP can hope to present a secular image, a BJYM leader said.

However, he privately admitted that only those Muslims who are close to the BJP line of thinking would be invited for the national yuva Muslim convention on June 7.

These pro-BJP Muslims would be identified during the state level yuva Muslim convention in the country from June 1 to June 15, he pointed out.

The BJYM would also launch a massive campaign to remind the youth of the struggles and sacrifices of Indias freedom fighters, Bharati said.

A three-day national level training camp would be held in Rajasthan from June 26, Bharati said. It would be followed by state level training camps that would be completed by July 15.
