The Janata Dal-Secular's Delhi unit Saturday merged into the Aam Aadmi Party.
Besides hundred of party workers, Delhi state president Haji Ikram Hasssan, vice president Haji Mohammad Yamin, secretaries Afzal Siddiqui, Haji Muteja and Kishan Lal joined the AAP.
Led by former prime minister H.D. Deve Gowda, JD-S mainly has presence in Karnataka.
The AAP welcomed the JD-S leaders.
"The AAP is willing to welcome political activists with a clean track record into its fold who are ready to work for the eradication of corruption and communalism from the society," said a party statement quoting Anand Kumar, party's Lok Sabha candidate from Delhi North East.
