Bajaj Allianz Life appoints Anuj Agarwal as MD, CEO

Agarwal takes over from V Philip, who is moving to Allianz Managed Operations & Services SE, an Allianz Group Company

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has appointed Anuj Agarwal as its new Managing Director and officiating Chief Executive Officer. The appointment has been approved by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Irda).

Agarwal is taking over from V Philip, who is moving to Allianz Managed Operations & Services SE, an Allianz Group Company.
 
Agarwal has been associated with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited from inception in 2001 till the year 2004 and has handled senior responsibilities in Finance including that of Vice President-Finance.

Since then, he has since held senior positions as CFO/CRO, within the Allianz Group in Egypt and Indonesia. He joins Bajaj Allianz Life from P T Asuransi Allianz, Utama, Indonesia, where he was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer.
