The government will repay investors of two securities maturing on April 10 and April 15.
 
The outstanding balances of 11.68 per cent government stock, 2006 are due for repayment on April 10, while the 11.75 percent government stock, 2006 matures on April 16.
 
"Since, april 16, 2006 is a Sunday, the stocks due for repayment on this date will be repaid by the paying offices on the previous working day, that is, April 15, 2006," an official release said.
 
In the event of a holiday being declared on April 10 and/or April 15, 2006 by any state government under the negotiable instruments Act, 1881, the stocks will be repaid in that state on the previous working day, it added. No interest will accrue after these dates, it said.
