ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company has decided to double its share capital from Rs 110 crore to Rs 220 crore. This will help the insurer improve its bottomline considerably as it will be in a better position to retain more risks in the country. ICICI Lombard is among the first non-life insurers to hike its capital since it commenced operations in August 2001.
