| Sentiment: Bearish Government securities prices slipped as investors refrained from buying ahead of tomorrow's auctions and inflation data due on Friday. Prices of long-term securities barely budged, while those of medium- and short-term gilts declined by 20 paise and 10 paise respectively. The yield on the ten-year benchmark paper, 7.37 per cent 2014, closed higher at 5.94 per cent, compared with 5.91 per cent on Tuesday. Call money rates ended at 4.30-4.35 per cent. |
