Samsung has tried to alleviate investor fears and portray its growth opportunities at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) special press conference.

CEO and Chairman Kwon Oh Hyun explained the market opportunity that stands before Samsung for the future, TechCrunch reports.

Samsung essentially argued that its growth will come from a deepening desire for innovation and technological change from consumers, the report added.
