According to Sotheby's, the price that was paid for the flawless 59.60-carat pink diamond is the highest that has ever been paid for a gemstone at an auction, Fox News reported.
The price that diamond fetched exceeded all expectation, as it was estimated to be sold for more than 60 million dollars.
