Ahead of the curve

Sansui has launched its advanced Curve 4K Ultra HD LED TV. The new range is part of the company's plans to expand its premium TV product portfolio. Sansui's Curve 4K Ultra HD TV provides wider viewing angles owing to its concave shape. With the integration of 4K resolution, pictures seems more realistic and images become deeper due to the 3D effect. The Curve Ultra HD LED TV range starts from Rs 199,990. The company is expected to soon roll out an advertising campaign. The focus market for the new range will be metros and the range will be distributed through its direct dealer network and modern trade. The company aims to double its market share this year and plans on investing around Rs 80 crore in promoting the new models.

Riding the wave

Godrej Appliances has unveiled its next generation refrigerator. The refrigerator uses 'just the right temperature' technology, thanks to which consumers can store food in three flexible temperature zones - chiller (-1 to 3°C), fridge (1 to 5°C) and pantry (4 to 8°C). The other features include a digital touch-screen panel, motion sensing zone light, stay cool technology with four different modes of cooling - regular mode, party mode, weekly stocking mode and vacation mode. The launch marks the entry of Godrej Appliances into the premium segment. The range will be available in three colours and patterns under sub-brands Inox, Cosmos and Platina, and is priced between Rs 49,000 and Rs 79,000.
