The Indian shop-fittings market is in a nascent stage and largely unorganised.
Its size is estimated at about Rs 10,000 crore.
There are about 20-25 big players. The prominent ones include Bangalore-based Dovetail, Disha and Featherlite, Sahibabad-based BRV Solutions, Delhi-based Shark Designs and Magnum Interiors, and Mumbai’s Safe Enterprises.
An exclusive display point such as a shop-fit showroom with items on display is a rarity.
Most shop-fitters have a display unit in their facilities and workshops.
