54 Firms Under Eow Scrutiny

Stock markets and co-operative banks are not the only avenues where investors lose money. Shop owners, small-time firms and even corporates are duping the investors by not returning the deposits to investors. The amount defrauded runs into couple of hundred crores rupees and even more.

The office of the collector of Mumbai suburban district has referred cases of 54 establishments to the economic offence wing (EOW). These companies are reported to have fraudulently defaulted in re-payment of deposits received by them from various depositors.

EOW will be looking into these cases. While in some cases, hardly a couple of complaints have been filed by investors, highest number of complaints have been received against Gurukrupa Gift Scheme and CU Marketing Co which run into hundreds.

The names of establishments forwarded to the EOW are : CU Marketing Co, Aero Global Agrotek Ltd, Vatsa Corporation Ltd, Four Season Farm Ltd, Classic group, Banka India Ltd, Ess Agro Product Ltd, Mascos Packaging, Greengold Horticulture, Dealwell Finance Pvt Ltd, Asia Television, Diamond Securities, Ideal Marketing, Bhogilal Shah, Twenty First Century, Indian Women Resource Development Research Charitable Trust, Enroy Finance Ltd, Popular Share and Stock Services Ltd, Gurukrupa Gift Scheme, Rajiv Investment, Inovatia Technology, Harvest Finance Ltd, Brhmaputra Finance Pvt Ltd, Parasrampuria Plantation, TV Film Co-ordinator, Project Group Scheme, Indo-French Biotechs Enterprises and Indo-global Biotique Enterprises Ltd, Ganesh Valley Food Ltd, Unique Group, Kuber Group, Reliance Machinery Traders, Dowells Electric Works, Skyway Tours & Travels, Kushal Enterprises, Ahura Mazda Dairy Farm, Mazda Marketing, CIFCO Finance, PT Finance, Golden Chain, Mehna Plantation, Vishal Investments, Dynamic Investments, SP Tours & Travels, VJS Group & Company, Joint Economic Applicant Struggle Company, Vatsa Music Co, Deven Traders, Shivananda Finance, Suman Motels, Sukhshanti Film Corporation.
