Aditya Birla pares gains, ends up 2%

Aditya Birla Nuvo finally settled with a 2% gain at Rs 931. The stock plunged 10% from its its 52-week high at Rs 1,025 touched during opening deals. The counter witnessed a volume of 137,701 shares as against its two-week average traded quantity of 80,399 shares.

Aditya Birla Nuvo soared over 12% in opening deals to a high of Rs 1,025.

The stock however has now pared gains and is now up 4% at Rs 948. The counter has seen trades of around 80,460 shares so far on the BSE as against its two-week daily average traded volume of around 80,399 shares.

The buying at the counter can be attributed to the news that the company expects around Rs 600 crore capital infusion this financial year from its promoters, and another Rs 400 crore next fiscal.
