Shares in Alok Industries have moved higher by 12% to Rs 12.21 after multiple block deals executed on the counter in early morning deals on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE.
At 1200 a combined 69.01 million shares representing 5% of total equity of Alok Industries have changed hands on the counter as compared to sub 7 million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks.
However, the identity of the buyers and sellers could not be yet ascertained.
The stock opened at Rs 11 and touched a high of Rs 12.35 on NSE so far.
