Premier bourse National Stock Exchange today said it would include stocks of Ashok Leyland and Bajaj Auto, among others, in the CNX Dividend Opportunities index with effect from next month.
A total of 11 new scrips will be included in CNX Dividend Opportunities index, replacing another 11, effective from January 2, the first day of trading in 2012.
The other incoming stocks include Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, India Infoline, Indiabulls Financial Services, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, SREI Infrastructure Finance, Syndicate Bank and Vijaya Bank.
The 11 stocks being excluded from the index include Bank of Maharashtra, Berger Paints, Corporation Bank, Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals, Graphite India, IndusInd Bank, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Polaris Software Lab, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers, Shriram Transport Finance and Torrent Pharma.
