Asian markets open higher

Taking cues from the development in the US markets, the Asian indices have opened in the green.

Nikkei opened at 10,539 up by 8.31 points or 0.08%  and the Shanghai Composite quoted at 2,723 up by 24.26 points or 0.09%. Straits Times up at 2,888.28, positive by 7.80 points or 0.27%. Seoul Composite is at 1,682.90 up by 7.80 points or 0.27%. Taiwan weighed at 7,711.95 up at 47.22 or 0.62%

However, Hang Seng opened at 20,360.24  down by  66.40 points or 0.33% and Jakarta Composite down at 2,845.94 weaker by 4.49points or 0.16%.
