Asian markets remain in negative zone

The Asian markets continue to move in a subdued note. The Hang Seng has slipped 162 points or 1% to 21,923. The Nikkei is down 23 points at 10,084.

The Shanghai Composite Index has declined 34 points or 1% at 3,269.

The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite Index are maginally up at 2,807 and 1,666, respectively.

Asian markets are weak in morning trades. The Hang Seng has dropped 250 points (1.13%) to 21,836. The Nikkei has slipped 19 points to 10,087.

The Shanghai Composite is down 25 points at 3,278.

The Seoul Composite and the Straits Times are trading flat at 1,663 and 2,803.
