Cardamom up 0.4% as demand rises

Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions

Cardamom futures for May rose by Rs 4.40, or 0.40% to Rs 912.30 per kg in 117 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract edged up by 60 paise, or 0.07% to Rs 890.20 per kg in 455 lots.

Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions supported by rise in spot market demands.
