CCL Products dips post Q2 results

The stock dipped 7% to Rs 242 after reporting a 55.7% YoY drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 12.96 crore in Q2FY17.

CCL Products has dipped 7% to Rs 242 on BSE in intra-day trade after reporting a 55.7% year on year (YoY) drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 12.96 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 (Q2FY17).

The company engaged in coffee and coffee related products had profit of Rs 29.26 crore in a year ago quarter.

Net sales of the company declined 40.6% YoY at Rs 142 crore in Q2FY17 against Rs 235 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

At 12:56 pm, the stock was down 6% at Rs 245 on BSE, as compared to 0.20% rise in the S&P BSE Sensex. A combined 1.17 million shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE so far.
