Chana futures decline on subdued demand

In range-bound trade, chana futures prices traded marginally lower by 0.04 per cent to Rs 2,327 per quintal in today on subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the Multi Commodity exchange platform, chana for November delivery traded marginally lower by Re 1, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 2327 per quintal, with an open interest of just one lot.
Marketmen said subdued demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks position, mainly helped chana futures prices to traded marginally down.
They said speculators were less interested in creating fresh positions after the recent surge.
