The textile industry, which has been in the doldrums for a while now, has begun to see a glimmer of hope with exports to developing markets rising steadily despite quotas and imminent WTO accession of India in 2005.
Textile exports have increased by 6.7 per cent over exports for the same period last year, according to the union minister for textile Kashiram Rana.
